With a BA in Business Administration from the University of Jordan, Excellence Assessor certification from the European Foundation of Quality Management and a certification as a GInI Innovation Strategist and Desgin thinker and an aspiring artist, with over 30 years experience in the fields of business development, marketing communication, strategy, innovation and customer service excellence, across a variety of industries; it has allowed me to develop a deep understanding of business challenges and business leaders. Continued ...THE COACHCRAFT STORY
...to help small companies grow their business through marketing communications and creating proper logos and corporate profiles. I was inspired by my first job in Apple Computers for 3 years doing exhibitions and product launches and falling in love with art and technology.
That endeavor lasted for about a year where I realized at the time that the smaller companies didn't believe in allocating the marketing budgets and weren't willing to do the investment. They were too focused on the technical and operational aspects of the business and barely made ends meet.
That realization put me off and away from entrepreneurship for about 18 years. And I re-channeled my passions into organizational excellence, peak performance and customer service as I certified as a quality management Assessor. (EFQM)
In 2013 my mom passed away, and my grievance journey was hard to process until I went on a spiritual journey that led me to indulge in art making and try so many mediums until my creative passion was renewed as a GInI Innovation Strategist and Design Thinker.
In 2015, I found myself re-igniting that consulting and creative passion and re-establishing my 2nd company " The 7th Sense Consultant FZE" to support SME's and government entities with leadership, business & innovation strategies, marketing & business development, and facilitating design thinking workshops, until I was introduced to the Art and Practice of Co-active Coaching in 2018.
This is where I found my true calling ... helping people tap into their creative potential.
I continued my own learning process with a secret desire to be an artist....
And I kept on swinging between coaching and art making and as I learnt the art of coaching, I learnt all kinds of art techniques, then I developed a deeper interest in the creative coaching process....all the time there was a pendulum playing in my heart....do I do art and be an artist who spreads happiness through drawing large colorful flowers and green landscapes or do I continue coaching and grow the coaching business and expand the base of people I'd like to empower and help?!
...until one day I stumbled upon a free Arabic Calligraphy and Ornamantation class organized by the Ministry of Culture in Al Jalilah foundation.... as the group discussed the teacher's talent as he was exhibiting to us a unique technique in drawing a leaf, he encouraged us to read the book "The Necessity of Art" by Earnest Fischer, to have a good insight about art and why we need it as humans.
As I read the book I learnt that art is a necessity and we as humans need it to create balance in our lives.
And this is where it hit me that everything we do in life is an art form and a form of creative effort.
I had earlier made a decision to divide my time between coaching during the week and focus on art making during the weekends, but I still couldn't get it right in my head. I had attempted to do some group coaching combined with art making and I had great feedback from my clients so I know that it works but I didn't know it had theories and science behind it and how balance is created.
So as I kept on reading the book and reflecting on it, a question popped in my head "how can I combine both my creative passions -art and coaching -to help people tap into theirs?" This is when I remembered a quote in a course I attended in "The 7 habits for highly effective leaders" back in 2007, that offered the idea that "everything is created twice once inside of us and once in our outer world". Oh so that's how balance is created?!
And that's is the moment the powerful statement appeared; "I can help my clients tap into that creative place to find balance and alignment to create more fulfilling lives by understanding their inner world and creating it in their outer world, thus creating a balanced image of the life they want to live.
And this is when I decided to focus my coaching efforts on helping my clients tap into their creative potential through creative coaching and art making to craft the life they want and then help them bring it to fruition by fostering their sense of being and empowering them to take action to achieve it.
Dr. Joe Dispenza, put it rightfully "we are like architects". And this is where I became a firm believer that life is all about architecture and it is the ABCD (architecting, building, crafting and designing of yourself) that happens inside ourselves first in a coaching process that manifests in our outer world as empowered, resilient and impactful leaders. We lead our thoughts towards what we want to create. Simple!
From this growth mindset, CoachCraft FZCO was born in May 2024, a company on a mission to create holistic leaders who are forward thinkers, compassionate and authentic in their present being.
And who are empowered to imagine a beautiful future.
I am excited to be on this journey with you because I believe if we trust our imagination, we can trust ourselves to create a wonderful world!
